We would like to inform all visitors to our site about a serious rise in fraudulent activity involving bank accounts. If you receive a call from anyone claiming to work for a bank, and offering you the chance to reclaim any bank charges you may have had then HANG UP.

No banks work in this way and furthermore they certainly won't ask for your bank details over the phone (they already know that information) and certainly NEVER give out the numerical information on the rear of any bank or credit cards which you have. 

If you receive any calls like this then please just HANG UP if it is genuine then they might call back, but if you are in any doubt what so ever contact your bank/building society directly.

There has also been a rise in fraudulent activity relating to a certain satellite television provider whereby the caller claims to be able to offer you a cheaper deal with system protection insurance for the dish/box etc. Again don't give out any bank details and if you are unsure contact your service provider and they will tell you about genuine insurance providers.
