Treasurers Report

Bank statement No 72, dated to 21st November 2008 shows the Core Group has £1,131.13 in its account.

Michael has very kindly offered to take on the role of treasurers; all agreed and thanked him for taking on the job. All paperwork was handed over to him. The chair, secretary and new treasurer will arrange to meet at the bank to attend to all the paperwork

Community Planning Survey

The survey was completed by the Core Group and the chair will be post it back

MTC Workshop Ideas

1. Robert suggested that the ambulance service should be included along with the fire and police services.

2. Healthy Eating/living on a budget

3. Advertising, how do we attract new tenants to forums

 

Tenants Handbook

An item will be placed in the next issue of the Tenants Voice asking tenants for their suggestions. On going to next meeting

 

Housing Sub Committee

Last meeting of the year.

Iain went through the relevant items. The Housing Sub paperwork can be found on the council web site.

 

Working Group Feedback

1.     TP Working Group.

2.     Housing Best Value

All the minutes for these working groups can be obtained from the secretary.

 

Core Group Festive Meal

A date will be decided at the January meeting

1. The next issue of the Tenants Voice will be through tenant letter boxes within the next couple of weeks.

2. The Chief Housing Officer and senior management within the council have received the council’s results from the Housing Regulator; the public will hear the result, hopefully, by the end of January.

3. The chair wished everyone a Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year.
