May 2008 minutes    There are 3 corrections
1.    Welcome went to Michael Pirie
2.    M.a. no 2, should read 40p per mile
3.    A.O.C.B. no 2 should read, the secretary wrote to the group but has heard nothing.

Matters Arising   
A.O.C.B. item 1, rent payments, tenants have been recieving letters informing them they are in arrears even though their rent is paid on time at the pay point. Steven had been informed that tenants are being asked to either pay an extra £5 per week or pay an extra full week to keep them out of debt. Charles believes the council are upgrading their computer system to accomidate this problem. Graeme to make enquirers on behalf of the core group.

Tenants handbook   
All were asked to read through their handbooks and at the next meeting all suggestions on improvements will be collected and passed onto the council    
Garden competition   
Heather asked all round the table if they could please encourage their local forums to keep the competition going   

A.O.C.B.   

1. All agreed the group were to give cedarwood a £50 donation for the use of the room for monthly meeting. Cheque to be written at the end of the meeting.
2. Liz encouraged all to recycle their plastic at Moycroft [Elgin] and Waterford [Forres], they will not take margarine/yogurt tubs
3. Due to ill health the chair at Rothes has resigned, the remainder of the forum will be joining the Bilbohall forum.
4. Liz spoke to the chair of the New Elgin forum and was informed they will be holding an A.G.M. in August.
5. Housing sub committe, a place will be left open for New Elgin. Bob Taylor [Lossiemouth] will also be attending, all agreed.
6. Charles informed the group that there is a new layout to the lottery application forms; the form is now 32 pages long.
